Students all over the country collected their GCSE results this morning. While many will have enjoyed a clean sweep of As and A*s, others will be cursing just missing out on a C by one solitary mark.
The grade boundaries for GCSEs change every single year, and again 2016 was no different. Many factors weigh into why they change, these include difficulty, the subject and even the exam board you sat them with.
There are multiple exam boards across the country so there are a huge number of different grade boundaries in any given subject.
